Position Overview:

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for producing, editing, and delivering multimedia content that enhances communication efforts across digital and traditional channels. This role involves collaborating with teams to create visually appealing and impactful materials that align with organizational goals and enhance brand identity. Able to update website platforms in both Wordpress and Figma. Has extensive experience in developing multimedia content including videos, graphics and interactive presentation and is able to take a storyboard and build out exquisite video productions for corporate campaigns and internal use.

Role and Responsibilities:

Content Creation

• Develop multimedia content including videos, graphics, and interactive presentations.
• Conceptualize and storyboard ideas to effectively convey messages and engage target audiences.
• Use creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality multimedia assets.

Editing and Production:

• Edit videos and audio recordings, ensuring clarity, continuity, and seamless integration of visual and audio elements.
• Enhance multimedia projects with effects, graphics, and animations to achieve desired outcomes.
• Manage post-production processes, including color correction, sound mixing, and final output for various platforms.
• Media compression and encoding
• Website Wordpress modifications as needed
• PPT design projects including company newsletter development, design working with team and other PPT deck designs working with all departments in the company

Platform Management:

• Optimize multimedia content for distribution across digital platforms, websites, social media, and other channels.
• Ensure compatibility and functionality across different devices and browsers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for multimedia content delivery.
• Experience with software platforms including Illustrator, InDesign, Wordpress and Figma

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and creative
• teams, to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of multimedia content.
• Present ideas, concepts, and finished products to internal teams or clients.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for multimedia assets and projects.
• Monitor project progress, address feedback, and implement revisions as necessary.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct quality checks to ensure multimedia content meets brand guidelines, technical
• specifications, and project objectives.
• Continuously improve and innovate multimedia production processes and workflows.

Social Media:

• Ability to assist with all social media efforts including content development and visual graphics to be posted on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience (6 years) in multimedia production, video editing, graphic design, or a similar role.
• Expert on PC platform which is utilized by Summit (note, Summit does not use MAC products)
• Proficiency in multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects,
• Photoshop, Illustrator), Premier Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience with software platforms including Illustrator, InDesign, Wordpress and Figma
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery methods for various platforms.
• Creative flair, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

The pay range for this role is $40-$50 per hour.
